Privacy policy

This policy explains how Celnet Technology (“Celnet”, “we”) handles data on this website and in the Celnet service.

1. This website

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If you contact us, the contact form opens your own email client. We receive only what you choose to send, and we use it to reply to you.

2. Data we process for customers

When a customer uses Celnet, we process on their behalf: ad click identifiers (such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid and ttclid), UTM and campaign parameters, click timestamp, IP address and user agent, and the conversion data the customer sends us (order or lead ID, value, currency and time). Customers may optionally send an email address or phone number for lead-based conversions. These are normalised and SHA-256 hashed before they are sent to an ad platform.

The customer is the data controller and we are their processor. We use this data only to match conversions to clicks, send them to the customer’s own ad accounts, and report results to the customer. We do not sell data, build cross-site profiles, or combine one customer’s data with another’s.

3. Ad platform access

Customers connect ad accounts through each platform’s OAuth sign-in. We store the resulting access tokens encrypted. We use them only to upload conversions and read the reporting shown in Celnet. Customers can revoke access at any time from Celnet or from the ad platform.

4. Retention

Click and conversion records are kept for up to 13 months so that late conversions and adjustments can still be matched. After that they are deleted or anonymised. Customers can ask us to delete their data sooner, and all customer data is deleted within 30 days of an account closing.

5. Sharing

Conversion data is sent only to the ad platforms the customer has connected, and to infrastructure providers we use to run the service, such as Cloudflare, under data-processing terms.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Contact us at hi@celnettechnology.com. If your request is about a customer’s campaigns, we will work with that customer to answer it.
